Hello! I’m the woman behind Risza Jewellery, currently working from my cozy studio in Brighton, England.

My journey began over 10 years ago in Dili, Timor-Leste, the homeland of my ancestors. It was there that I discovered my passion for jewellery-making—watching traditional Timorese silversmiths sparked something in me. I started experimenting, teaching myself, and later learning from talented mentors across the world. The learning never stops.

My work is deeply inspired by Timorese ceremonial and traditional objects—each design rooted in story, symbolism, and cultural meaning. As my style continues to evolve, I now blend semiprecious stones, organic forms, and contemporary techniques to create jewellery that feels both personal and timeless.

I feel incredibly privileged to create from the heart—and even more so to share my creations with you.
